Limited edition fine art print of my ‘Sydney Coastal Wetlands’ painting from my collection, "Maps of the Earth We Still Have"

These wetlands once buffered storms, filtered water, and supported rich plant & animal communities. They’re disappearing due to coastal development, agricultural runoff, mining, and overall human alteration of the water table and land. 

For this painting, I was deeply inspired by the patterns of water lily pads that are found everywhere in this region. The region supports native water lilies (like Nymphaea species). Water lilies offer ecological benefits like nutrient absorption, habitat, and cooling, making their conservation crucial for healthy coastal wetlands.
