‘Joy Beneath the Stars’ - Original 16x20 Painting

‘Joy Beneath the Stars”

16x20 inches

Watercolor, Acrylic, Gold Leaf

On Canvas, comes with gilded edges, no framing necessary.

An homage to the island of Puerto Rico and made in response to the water crisis. This painting uses my unique mosaic pattern inspired by map lichen. Map lichen can survive symbiotically in the harshest conditions. This work is about how we survive through mutual support.

10% of the sale of this painting will be donated to Plenitud PR, a nonprofit that supports bringing water filters and food to Puerto Rican communities during the water crisis.
