"Hurakan" - 9x12 Original Painting (Island of Things Collection)

My original 9x12 painting, 'Hurakan', was created using Watercolor, Acrylic, Thread, and Ink on professional gallery wrapped canvas. Comes signed and in a secure package, ready to hang. Would look best hung on its own or in a floating frame. Sides are left white. 

The name of this piece, "Hurakan", is the Taino word that turned into our current word "hurricane" today. In Taino, it means "center of the wind" and was also their word for their god of the storm. I've used the Taino spiral motif throughout.
